Just blew my plan out of the water, but thanks for the heads up. What were you doing to snap the studs? How much space did you achieve with the bud caps?
I got the Michelin XML 395's mounted on stock wheels and very satisfied with the look. Everyone I talked to said they get no rubbing or slight rub on steering rod on hard right turns. I am getting a considerable amount on the steering rod (rt turn) and also on the shock mount bracket (drivers...
I thought the same thing about the flap size. I asked my tire gut to explain the difference and he mumbled something. Well, I think he mumbled, but maybe I was just ignoring him at that point. Your truck looks great. Have you been off road with the new treads?
That sounds like a good deal. The guy here in Lincolnton told me he would mount them for $25 per tire but that went south pretty quick. I was eager to pay 25 but he could not hold up his end of the deal due to compression. I am off every Wednesday and on the weekends. Do you think I need to...
I just got my 395 XML's and 11.00 tubes but I can't find any info about pros and cons of using stock flaps. My tire dealer attempted to mount one and said he could not get it compressed enough. He was worried about the stock flaps pinching the tubes and recommended I go with a wider flap. I am...
No, this is on the deuce. Forgot to specify. Three different gaskets were included in the box. I am sure I got the base gasket right. I did not have a gasket to fit on the bolt head so I just re-used the old one. There was one gasket that would fit around the entire cannister with 2" of...
I changed my oil today. The only gasket I saw to replace was the one at the base of the filter housing. Cleaned cannisters and housing real well and did not twist the cannister when tightening the top nut. I have not fired her up yet. I got scared when reading on SS about starting up after oil...
I am looking at buying a M105A2 trailer. It has no dents or major rust, paint is good, it has staves and bows for the top, wood sides are ok, and the tires are OK. The guy wants $680 for it. Is that a good deal or should I keep looking. Not sure how much I will use it. I have other trailers...
Welcome to the site. I live in Lincolnton, Ga. I own a 1968 A2 multifuel and a 1955 M35 gaser. Still tinkering with both, but wanting more. I highly recommend the Durhamtown Rally. Last yrs was my first rally and had a great time. Planning on going back this yr.

I am attempting to remove paint from My deuce as well. I tried 80 grit pads on my 4 inch grinder. The pads fly to pieces afrter less than one minute of use. So far I have removed 1/6 th of the total surface area (20 pads later). I tried several chemical solvents with out any success. I am...
I was there in attendance w/o vehicle in 09, but will be there in 2010 with my deuce. I live about an hour away and will be glad to help out with anything you need. I can also bring some firewood if needed.

quote=pjpiche1;477303]I love your "kids"! I grew up on a hog farm. Hogs make GREAT pets. They are very intelligent/trainable and loving! I have found one key to their heart is... OREO cookies!!! :-D They do not have sweat glands. So, they have to have either water or an air conditioner to keep...
He was actually one of 5 piglets found in the woods. Mom was no where around-possibly trapped or killed. He is a great pet, but needs room to raom. I still love BBQ, but Gus is not on the menue. I have friends in South GA who find them on a regular basis.
