    i always forget to post this, but someone asked me today wat the symbol on the back of my m1009 stood for; its an upside down white triangle, with OC printed on it just below the tailgate crank/lock in the middle of the tail gate - any one know what it stands for??

    im looking for a pair of tow shackles so that i have them all around instead of just the rear... i have alot of the military parts off of an m1009 if someone wants to trade or anything - radio rack, slave recepticle, blackout light (works), some other stuff can't remember off hand plus i dead...

    sam did you add s CV joint or did you put a completely new drive shaft in?? i would imagine that you could get an old front cv from a junkyard cheap, if you can just 'add' it to the rear driveshaft.

    ya i pulled em off too see the axle, the hubs are all chewed up and i dont know why, could have been inproper installation by the owner...or the axle? i dont know where the axles are supposed to be positioned, if you look there are way to the top...

    i beat the hell outta of the 3 screws and they didnt bug down at all.... sorry im not talking about the pitman arm...the kit i bought came with a new steering arm the one that goes from the drag link to the knuckle housing (next to the wheel) there are 3 bolts coming out of the housing that hold...

    i got the m1009 jacked up to install lift kit... steering arm is STUCK on! any ideas to get it off (i tried prying and hammering it [with out damaging it]) my 4x is not working due to hubs, i took the hubs off and noticed parts missing and lots of ground up metal. it doesnt look right at all...

    Wiring ???

    the brown wire from the trailer is working, i figured out that one is for the Blackout LEDs when i blew the fuse when i touched the wires, but the regular brown wire works good!

    no purple wire found, 3 wires going into each tail light, and 3 for each blackout LED mangus, there are 2 harnesses going to the military trailer plug, i havnt encountered this before as i havnt towed anything yet, but is one of the 2 harnesses (which each contain 3 wires) for the blackout...
