    M747 destroyed by crooks

The people that I think did this own trucks and trailers and the equipment to cut metal. The owner's son just got out of jail a few weeks ago for stealing and is on drugs. I think they may have backed a van trailer up to it and cut it so it would fall right in the trailer. That would have...

    M747 destroyed by crooks

My best guess is for scrap metal. They also got chains, binders, blocks and the lid to the storage compartment. I worked hard this summer to completely restore this trailer with new tires and wheels, paint, wiring and lights. I had it ready to go. Now I will have to get someone to build a...

    M747 destroyed by crooks

This is what someone did to my trailer just before Christmas. They cut the whole front off with a cutting torch. I think I know who did it, just have to prove it.

    Show us your Military Trailers

Here's my little M747. I bought it 9 months ago in Barstow, CA and pulled it all the way to GA. It was one heck of a trip with all 16 tires dry-rotted, but I made it. I put 11.00 20's on it that I bought from GL. I have repainted to Cat yellow, rewired with all new lights. I had to pay CA...

    Wrong VIN returned on SF-97.

Does anyone know if there is any place other than the data plate that would have the VIN number on a XM 747 trailer? This one did not have a data plate and I don't know how to get full VIN.

    EUC cleared in 12 days

My first EUC came back just 33 days from purchase date and that was with a problem resolution sent back on on day 17. My 2nd EUC came back on same day as the first and was only purchase a few days earlier. I was worried because I put down a big list of countries for possible export.

    M747 Manual Needed

Wow, this is just a great place to get all kinds of valuable information. What I am looking for at this point is a used 100 ton fifth wheel for the 3.5 " kingpin on that trailer. Anyone know where someone may be parting out a truck or one is just laying around, please let me know.

    M747 Manual Needed

Wreckerman, you are probably right about the kingpin. I'll just buy another truck and set it with the 100 ton 3.5 in fifth wheel.

    M747 Manual Needed

I'll check it out. I measured the kingpin on my other trailer and it was 3 inches diameter.
