Tried to charge up both batteries today. As soon as the glow plugs started to heat up it seemed that the relay became too hot to touch. Is this normal? Kille the batteries at the same time.

will check the light switch positions as soon as I get home today. The engine did crank real good while I had it hooked up to my car with jumpercables. Glow plug light went out after about 45 seconds but still did not start the engine. Will check the glow plug wires too. Thanks for you help

Water In Fuel Indicator Thanks Jim, Found the manual version to drain the filter right after posting before. Just waiting for it to stop raining cats and dogs and will go see if it works. Do not mind being hit by the cats but the large dogs tend to hurt. Tom
