Hey everyone I'm back, sorry to ask so many questions but for that know and others that don't know I'm looking for a deuce and my father did more reading on steel soldiers himself and he read from a couple people that you have to change axle seals every so many thousands of miles. Is that really...

FL Any experiences with titles for a M35A2 ( obtaining or having one transfered over to your name)

Thanks for the positivity SCSG. Yeah I plan on just cruising it and taking it to trails and (hopefully) jobs on occasions. It's just one of those things that are so neat you just got to have and it's a real beast. I'd probably drive it twice a week at most . But so far Ive heard positive things...

FL Any experiences with titles for a M35A2 ( obtaining or having one transfered over to your name)

That's pretty interesting, but all this insurance stuff makes me contemplate on getting one cause of the horror stories I've heard and people at dmvs not knowing about them and not wanting to help you out. Sorry guys it's just gets me worried about what if I get one and they won't insure it.

No I currently don't have a deuce yet, saving up for one and scouting around too. But just avoid saying anything about the vin and just hand them the title until/if they ask any questions? Well when I get one I'm gonna have to keep it at a storage lot which I don't mind doing in the meantime...

Thanks guys and thanks computerdoc, yeah I've read hagerty requires it to be in a barn or garage for it to be insured(ridiculous). But I've been reading about gulfway insurance and that they're pretty good with insuring Deuce's. And hummer guy, could you tell me more about the vin issue too if...

FL Looking at getting a M35A2 very soon, who would be a good insurance company for it and is it really a pain to get them registered in florida?

Thanks Tow, so these collector companies are quite familiar with these trucks? But I may go with state farm tho(if it goes smoothly and the quote is right). Yeah I hear people just say don't say the word military or they will want to refuse or it'll scramble it all up from there(bunch of BS)...

FL Looking at getting a M35A2 very soon, who would be a good insurance company for it and is it really a pain to get them registered in florida?

Sorry Tow4, just got around to your message, outside of 1 speeding ticket and taking the class to keep points off my license and insurance from going out the roof that's about it on my record. Well wouldn't they want a actual vin no. Of the truck? Can I just say an example like a 1988 amc...

FL Looking at getting a M35A2 very soon, who would be a good insurance company for it and is it really a pain to get them registered in florida?

Thanks FloridaAKM, sounds like these monsters are fairly cheap to insure(and hopefully for a 21 year old guy) but I got a feeling it'll all pan out good for some reason, other thing is I have to keep it at a storage lot cause it's so huge and I don't have a big enough property to keep it on...

Unsure to use gaskets or sillicone valve covers

Thanks guys, I may try the gasket route first but just had to throw it out there about the silicone rumor I've heard. And another question I have is about those valve cover gaskets, is there any difference in them from a c code and a j code 6.2 diesel or are they the same thing? Because I...

Hey thanks for the signs Sandcobra164. We are 99 percent sure it's a stuck valve, going to try and remove the valve covers this Saturday to make sure that it's actually a valve issue(almost positive).I heard I can use a brass hammer to tap on the valve gently, do I need to remove the rocket arms...
