I am on a Mac and cannot seem to figure out how to change my photo sizes so I can post an avatar. I saw the link to Microsoft powertoys but it doesn't work with Vista either (my other computer). Can anyone offer some advice for this?
Stories like this abound...I knew guys in bootcamp that lied to get in. One guy memorized the eye chart because he was blind in one eye, another guy somehow slipped through the cracks and got kicked out because he was color-blind. One guy found out half-way through boot that he had some sort...
That depends if somebody finds out! Most likely your recruiter will pay more than you would.
There are so many life lessons that can be learned in the Marines there isn't enough room or time in this forum. Suffice to say that you will learn discipline, self-control, but mostly how to deal with...
YGMIR-- cannot believe it took ya'll this long to notice the handicapped space!!! Good eye...I know, I know. It was my brother-in-law's store and I just pulled up so they could move some stuff around out front to make room for me to park and so my wife could go inside to tinkle!!
Have no idea what that thing is-- I left the truck temporarily at my brother-in-law's shop so I can't go check it out right now. I did see that in the picture though when I bid on it-- wondered the same thing!
Cloudcroft-- isn't that way up in the mountains? I think we passed through there last...
Sweet! It looks like the same newer paint job as the deuce I just picked up from Norman. They both are 45th Infantry brigade trucks-- I'm sure they are cousins, at least!
I was told mine was in an arty battery in Seminole, and had been through some major reconditioning.
I also like your tan...
Ok, picked up deuce #2 in Norman this morning. It is, dare I say-- a pretty truck! Ok, maybe handsome is more appropriate! No hickups, and it ran like a top. My wife and daughter came with me and even they thought it was a good lookin' vehicle. It will definitely be my "parade" truck.
On a...
Have not inspected area while engine is running. Will tackle this tomorrow when I have some time. I've got a few of the manuals and will look at the others suggested-- thanks gents!
On that note, can someone explain what it is about a deuce that makes you have to have more than one? It's like peanuts....or M&M's. I feel it...but cannot explain it!!
Well, it's official--I'm an addict now! Picked up my first deuce this morning at Tinker AFB in OKC. Went very well. Got lots of pics of me belching smoke while rolling at 60mph down I-40 en route to the ranch, but cannot post until I get the right cable for my PC.
A few issues: after about 80...
The metal thingies behind the rear tires is actually a gas can. Haven't been able to crank her up to top speed just yet but it'll supposedly go 60mph on a smooth road.
The gun is actually a metal pipe with actual flash suppressor attached. I'm researching getting a propane "cannon" used by...

Just purchased a FOX recon vehicle from Pat Egan at Khaki Corps Imports. SS list member M1075 drove his 1-ton dually down from the Osage and helped me pick up the beast. We then drove it down U.S. 75 to our ranch south of Tulsa....
Like a dummy I didn't get any pics while on the road. Told...
I'd make a call to the OSBI, seriously. I was LEO in Texas (and now in Oklahoma) and I know this caca wouldn't fly back in Tejas. It's a little different up here unfortunately.
If that doesn't work maybe contact the postal inspectors. If he is shipping anything via the postal service (or...
