RE: sure... Have not consulted my 91 R/V Helm diagrams as of yet. But in a box in the shop i have a complete 91 V2500 Burb harness...bumper to bumper. The burb was 350 TBI-4L80E...and it used the standard ecm to control the 4L80E part of the equasion. The ecm is not the standard 7747 and it has...

I have the complete NOS artic covers on my 79 K5. The covers were only part of the entire winterization kit which included diesel fired heaters and thick padding for the floorboards and sidewalls of the cab. Found mine on ebay years back...kick myself for not buying the entire kit. DW

    M1009 Tires and Lift

Owning many K5's over the years i have found the perfect combo is a 4 inch lift with 33's. Add traction devices to the rears and your in rather good shape. I started with Auburn Pro series lockers and was quite impressed with what they could do. Although eventually i moved on to a 6 inch...

    Steering wheel not centered

Armada....besides being a 63B in the army i have owned one to many k5's in my lifetime...currently that number is 8...and its enough...hehehe. In buying used K5's...or any K1-2-3 i find the magically moving steering wheel is a fairly common item. I have heard of the UJoint equasion as...

    Steering wheel not centered

Well....a new center pin from your local spring store is cheaper than the gear box. And...it doesn't always necessarily cause a pull. I guess in this situation the best thing to do is to start from scratch. Jack up the left front from the axle tube unitl the tire is slghtly off the ground. Have...

    Steering wheel not centered

The steering wheel canbe recentered by adjusting the draglink...however this sounds like to me the classic chevy busted center pin in the leaf spring problem to me. I've owned many a K5 in my life and usually this is scene after bringing the truck out of 4x4 and returning to 2wd. But i'd also...

I'll keep that in mind when i bring her home. She's still in az as she was found by my bud who is the body shop manager for frieghtliner while out doing an estimate. Guessin track width would be the biggest issue besides weight rating. DW

    Unimog Tractors

The one i need to find is still in use by the military today and my reserve unit has plenty of them. They are called the HMMH....but we refer to them as a C truck as i was in a combat engineer unit (244th CEB Co. A Det 1) out of fort carson. I see the 10 manual is here under 5-2420-244-10. If...
