    12V Computer speakers in CUCV?

Anything electrical should be fused at least, or circut breaker protected at best. The fuse should be inline as close to the power source as possible.

    12V Computer speakers in CUCV?

If you wire this in directly you will fry the speaker system. Go onto Amazon and get yourself a voltage convertor, type in the search 24 volt to 12 volt. then tap into that. It is like $40 and it has sufficient power to run your speakers, or even a regular car stereo.

    Disc breaks anyone?

Well in the long run, keeping the smaller tires, and doing the conversion would be cheaper I think. Thanks for the info!

    Building fence with the Deuce

I suppose it is possible that the seal needed to seat against the shaft better, and driving it did that. Either way, I love that farm... sounds like it would make a good bug out retreat if it comes to that too.

    Building fence with the Deuce

That is a beautiful area your familly owns, nice deuce too! I am glad you didnt have to replace the seals again.

    Disc breaks anyone?

Steve, this is a pretty wonderful thing.... can you do both rears and the front, while also changing the gearing to maybe get the deuce up to say 65 top speed? I would like to be able to drive a deuce on the highway here in NJ, and anyone here can tell you that 45 to 50 here might as well be a...

    Insane home Water/meth injection...

For the tank you could use 4 inch pvc with some fittings tapped into a hard cap. It would hold the pressure, and you could make it any size you want.

    M109 camper conversion

I would put the elctrical stuff, connections for "Shore Power" inverter for transforming 12 or 24 v to 110... etc. I am taking the bed off my m-105 right now to put a try in for 2-12 volt batteries and a fuel tank, then in the bed will go the storage drums with filtration for WMO. I will run my...

    M109 camper conversion

Ok, I just spent almost 3 hours reading this thread, and all I could think the whole time was " how incredible that these 2 work so closely, and with such talent!" I am totally impressed with the work you have done. I wish I could make the rally in Ga, so i could meet both of you. Keep up the...

    Top 10 Deuce Modifications

Just curious why you don't go with a 24 volt inverter instead of all the work adding another complete electrical system... and if you need 12 volts there are also transformers to convert 24 volt down to useable 12 volt for electroncs.... Just my $.02

    Frustrated with starting MEP003a engine

Just another thought, but have you checked the fuel pressure?

    Frustrated with starting MEP003a engine

Well if you are gonna junk the project, I am looking for another mep003! I will be happy to drive down and take em off your hands! JK Seriously, they are well worth the effort and frustration! All the relays and wiring is prefferable to solid state stuff IMHO, you can do it!

    Frustrated with starting MEP003a engine

Will it fire if it gets a shot of ether? If so try rebleeding the injector lines, my backhoe was doing the exact same thing.

    MEP-002A acquisition

Oh man, my bad, sorry for the wrong info. I was thinking of my 28 volt genny!

    M127A1C/ M197A1 Camper conversion

Hey Ghill55, have you thought about maybe putting solar panels on the roof.... You can get the ceels your self and build the panels. It can be set up to keep the whole system charged, and it really would not cost all that much. Awesome project you have going! Glad you started a build thread, I...

    MEP-002A acquisition

Hi John, great score there! The fuel line is for the external fuel source. If you look by the fuel shutoff for the onboard fuel tank there is probably a fitting to attach it. All you will need is an external tank or can, that hose (bled out) and then swing the fuel shutoff lever to the position...

Ghill55, that looks like an incredible undertaking... I can not wait to see the finished product! Great work so far. Roger

Hi Ben, The first EUC I filed actually only too about 10 days. I was expecting it to take "up to 60 days", so imagine my shock when I had to go pick up my generator 500 miles away so quickly... lol! As far as dealing with GL, my experience thus far has been fine, everyone has been helpful...
