The M998 I drove at work today heated up to 240 and coolant appears to be leaking at the bottom of the water pump. Where can I pick up a thermostat and water pump/gaskets to replace the old ones? I work in the Klickitat River basin in SW Washington State.

Did the swap with that Doghead relay last year on the hatchery M1008 plow truck. No issues with starting after that. Simply is a must do. Took 30 minutes of my time.

Hi all, Our M1008 plow truck wont engage in drive when put into 4 wheel drive. Tested this with wheel hubs unlocked. Looking through TM right now, but is this a switch issue? Happen to anyone out there? Mucho appreciated if someone can tell me how easy this is to fix. DawGoneIt

Wow! That does look good. we just put a helmet top on our M998, a four door setup. Doors dont fit so hot though. We have a second top we are mulling over what to do with.

My bad...it is a 1987 M998 HMMWV, the real deal. From this day hence I will refrain from calling it a hummer! I will look at the TM and this forum for testing a bad GP controller. I posted a shot of it after it just got done pulling a crippled M1008 Chevy up a 22% grade with 3 hairpin turns.
