    Motor let loose this AM!

    Never seen it on a CUCV, but on the 5.0s I have worked on, if you look across the face of it from the top or side, you will see the outside ring wobbling slightly.

    Quite possible or it could be like yak50pilot said, a condensation / carbon mixture forming on the louvers of the muffler, which put it out in the exhaust stream more than a straight pipe.

    What is the best modification you have done to your CUCV?

    Unless it is a school zone. It is funny how traffic flows out here, I was in my Chevy box van yesterday with 2 tons of carpet in it and rolling along at 75mph, getting passed like I was walking. Hopefully soon I will be getting a CUCV from Hundy.:)

    A few tire questions related to snow/chains...

    Give Hundy a call, $300 per tire (395's) and I believe $300-$350 for the re-centered HEMTT wheels. So $3600-$3900 plus shipping (search for his threads) I believe shipping is around $120-$150 per wheel. 100Dollarman - Tires!
