:D:D:D:D....Ain't that the truth! After this weekend and this morning I'll be broke for the next two months. I suppose I can always sleep in the M109A3 ....wait a minute:tin hat:....that was my plan already!
Welcome to Steel Obsession...I mean Soldier. :D I've got the Illness too! I got my first dose of the "antidote" 6 months ago...a 1967 Kaiser M109A3. But guess what? It didn't help. Not one bit. This weekend I set-up a purchase for an M105A2 trail w/ a S-250G (Shielded) shelter but...
LOL...don't sweat it. I'm still green too. I just bought my M109A3 less than 6 months ago and I just recently (about 2 weeks ago) started it's conversion to a M109RV :jumpin: :driver: and that's why I asked about those rims. So if anyone can tell me what they are...or what the largest tires I...
What rims are they? I have seen some trucks where they pulled off the forward rim and put large tires on the inner rim...at least that's what it looks like. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.
Could you send me some pics of the hole in your hardtop [bazyrkyrs_brews@rocketmail.com] and of what they used to fill it and seal it. I think I'm going to mount M66 machine gun ring on my M109A3 and mount a 1919a4 with an Emory Jones CrankFire and I may also try to pick up one of those m900...
Can you PM me the name of the person to stay away from when buying MV's in FL because I bought my M109A3 down there and had some "issues" of things not being what they were supposed to be.
WildChild...you fixed your Deuce fast. Looks AWESOME! Did you do the paint? I want to paint my M109A3 soon but I just can part with thousands and thousands of dollars like with other custom vehicles and I have no idea what the cost to paint a MV is. Any tips on who does paint and what it should...
NOW THAT IS AWESOME!!! I just got my hard top and it is in great shape but your restored top puts it to shame. I think I need to clone myself...and my bank account...so I can get my M109A3 done faster but with all the other items needed to thrive when our economy finally collapse money gets...
This truck is awesome! More motivation for me to work on my truck. Thankfully the weather is cooling off so I can start back on my M109A3. I'll be picking up a hard-top on Sunday for it. I need to remove all the rotted wood from the shop body, cut out the rusted metal, then replace both the...
Yeah I was thinking about the undercoating too. I guess it just depends on how bad the rust underneath the wood actually is. I might have to bring my Sterling Parts Kit project to a hold and go out right now(10pm :cookoo:) and find out. If it's really bad I'll cut the metal out and then clean up...
Hey there Clay. I just picked up my 1967 Kaiser M109A3 about a month ago and I plan on doing my conversion similar to this but I figure if I'm gonna sink the money into it I am going to do it 100% right so I am about to do exactly what you did but was wondering.....when you pulled the wood up...
Hey there.....I picked up my 1967 Kaiser M109A3 about 3-4 weeks ago. The previous owner painted it Marine Corps Green. I want to to the proper markings on the bumpers. Can you explain how the marking system on the bumpers works...I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
BTW....on my passenger and...
I made it....not 5 states but 6. I decided that I was gonna hit some pawn shops and surplus stores in military towns and when I hit Parris Island I was dead tired and because it had been a decade since I was last there I decided to get a hotel and check things out in the morning. I stopped at a...
What up with this needle gun that helps fix/prevent rust? Can you tell me more about it...how its used and what exactly it does...and maybe show a pic or two. Thanks.
Congrats on your acquiring a Deuce. Got any pics? I love seeing what everyone has and is doing to them. Its like one of those "Pimp my Ride" shows but 1000 times better. LOL...I wish Chip Foose could turn mine into an EMP hardened (even more than it already is) live-in Bug Out Vehicle. I'm going...
What insurance is that? Because my regular insurance quoted me at $200 every 6 months for just liability. I have no tickets...no accidents...nothing...and I feel the $600 every 6 months on my paid for liability "daily driver" that only gets driven 10 miles a week too much.
"software in my IP"...??? I new to Deuce's so I'm a little confused by this statement. It sounds like you're talking about a Mac or a PC verse your 1970 AMC M35A2. Can you please elaborate on that for me? Thanks.
