    Need some help with title

Looks like that year of mfg jives with what you were thinking. Is there any way you can submit a "statement of facts" along with your paperwork? I had to do that to avoid getting a weight ticket for my duece registration. Maybe you can make a statement that the previous owner was mistaken in...

Quick question! Inside knuckles - snot/grease-packed or dry?

I thought that stuff had the consistency closer to molasses than peanut butter? How do you intend to fill it up and get the boot on? Matt

    Another Sprag Newbie Question

Back on topic.... I think you corrected me on this once before... it just didn't stick - sorry about that. Looking at the manual for sprag adjustment, http://steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=6413&highlight=sprag there is a little piece that is labeled part 1 in...

    Another Sprag Newbie Question

1 - Correct - and if, heaven forbid, one side of your front axle stopped completely, then the other one would be driven TWICE as fast by the sprag. No thanks! 2 - No such kit, really, because there are so many parts that are different. Easier to get a new case. There used to be a REB kit that...

    My M35A3 Finally arrived yesterday!

That is the CTIS system. It's funny how in the picture of the shift column, it looks like there is carpet in the cab! Re: the price... I guess it sort of reflects that the military took three M35A2's to make one A3. Matt

Think I Need an Alternator, Please Help.

Don't know how often you get up to the Atlanta area, 1stGear, but I recently had my deuce alternator worked on at a shop up here. They do a lot of contracted rebuild work for Fort Gillem's trucks, so they usually have the parts on hand, and charge a fair price for labor. Check out C & S Auto...

M35A2 Deuce- Small Oil leak when sitting through Flywheel !

To quote Kenny (Recovry4x4): "There's a reason they're called 'road oilers!" If 's really bothering you, you might try one of those "seal remedy" thing to make the rubber more.... better. Keep in mind that according to the military, losing 1 quart of oil per 61 miles of operation is...

    Battery drain

Re: RE: Re: RE: Battery drain That will keep the batteries from draining, but it might not "fix the glitch." In my case, a cut off switch would have kept my batteries up, but my alternator was an AC generator because my diodes had blown. The -34 manual has a specific troubleshooting scenario...
