NO Voltage or HZ reading on meters

Atleast the A4 diodes are not too bad to replace. Worst part is the lacquer coating (or whatever it is) Might as well do that large resistor on there was well. They burn up often

    MEP-004 Starting problems

Sounds like a cutoff ie oil pressure, overheat, overspeed etc. Are all the lights functioning on the BS panel? Anything staying on?

NO Voltage or HZ reading on meters

The voltage adjustment could be bad as well. Swap the VR board out as a test. Make sure jumpers are set correct on the terminal board.

002 has the wrong model IP? Does this make sense?

I am doing genset work today. I will see if I can scrounge an old pump. I only have the mk2/m50's at this point. I have 3 m50's with cracks in the housing I am going to be attempting to silver solder(hi temp SS) today . Crap aluminum. NPT threads for the supply and return lines fall apart too.

Good news is when you get the IP pump fixed up its going to run great with fresh injectors :)

002 has the wrong model IP? Does this make sense?

I might be able to make it. If not I know a guy. Make up maybe 20-30. Any decent tool steel should do.. I might not even have any more early model pumps. I really need to dig and see what I have.

002 has the wrong model IP? Does this make sense?

Yup missed that. I skim sometimes and shoot too fast. I dont think I have pins, does anyone have a broken one that is cleanly broken and not shattered? I can probably make some.

002 has the wrong model IP? Does this make sense?

If nothing is coming out the boys are right. Worst case, yank it off. Taking it apart wont hurt anything. They are fairly simple devices. Dont see many of these left. I may have some parts, lets see whats broke. If not jerry has pumps as stated

    MEP-004A Under Frequency Indicator Light

I have not really thought about the problem yet, but I saw the leaky goo (stickiest crap I have ever seen. I had to burn it with a torch to get it off sheetmetal) and thought I would drop in. I only called TRC to try and get an engineer on the line who could say if the new and old are...

    MEP-004A Under Frequency Indicator Light

I have picked Triple Jims brain about the TWC. I want to boil or sweat out the potting and figure out whats going on in there, but its such a PITA, I havent bothered yet. I have had to replace 50% of mine. Good luck getting the guys at TRC in florida to awnser any questions though. I have...

Take an injector out and make it spray outside the head. Its popping off or its not. I never did hear if the actual throttle arm on the injection pump is coming up when the solenoid disengages. Sometimes it is a help to tie the throttle arm all the way up while cranking

Try fittings at the pumps and before the pumps all the way to the tank as well. Sounds like you have air in the fuel stream.

NO Voltage or HZ reading on meters

There was a good discussion about field flashing a few weeks ago on here. Different problem IIRC, but it should get you going in the right direction. Take a look at that bridge rectifier board inside the back bottom of the ac re-connection box.

    MEP-005A Load Bank Test w/problems

Yup, quickest way is to check the voltage on the generator side of the contactor and troubleshoot upstream from there.
