I have two 1967 M151A1 Jeeps. One has an A2 setup. Both require full choke when starting cold. As soon as they start I push the choke in part-way and run that way until the temperature gets to normal, around 190 degrees. When starting a warm engine, the choke is not required.
Try running...
Go for it!
Short story: In 1956 a buddy of mine bought a pair of boots for $25 when you could still buy a new pair of Cochrans for $12.87. I asked him why, and he said "because I wanted THAT pair of boots." We were making $77 a month.
Ken: We'll put the coffee pot on for ya. Don will probably give you a ride in his favorite military vehicle with a 350 Chevy engine.....he just needs an excuse...any excuse will do.
This 1944 Jeep and trailer did not sell on ebay for $39,100

The Goer made it to Columbus, Georgia without any problems. It travels well at 75 mph on that trailer. Larry plans on having it running and everything operational.......after he recovers from the fuel cost to pick it up...whew.
