I've called GP for about 3 weeks now, to address a few things.
First, they don't show my truck as picked up, and it has been for weeks. I've told them this multiple times.
Second, I have an outstanding refund balance that I was supposed to receive a check for about 5-6 weeks ago. Every call...
Found them. Thanks.
Now I just need to find the nut zert for the B Pillar that the soft top rail attaches to. They don't look like normal zerts, they're not threaded. Just have 4 tabs in them? Anyone used a standard 1/4" zert? Are there even OEM replacements available?
I do not have the seat bases, but the box/frames are there and still have the latches as well.
I'm cruising some online auction sites looking for the bases.
I found a website with all the TMs and diagrams and found the rear seat replacement diagram.
I think my issue was trying to line up the...
And another question.
I'm trying to get my rear seat frames set up for the rear seats. I'm not sure if I'm missing parts or going about it all wrong.
When the frame is slid down, there is no where to secure it. The holes in the seat frame line up with nothing on the body.
I downloaded the...
Thanks.
Follow up question. Should I attempt disassembly of the gauges to clean them up and get moisture out, or just replace the gauges?
Rough is certainly one word you could use. A good power wash has done wonders. The mirrors packed under the seat didn't make it, all the glass was...
What might the part number be for the 2 instrument panel bulbs? My panel was full of water, and the bulbs practically disintegrated. They don't really look like a bulb, possibly LED?
Thanks
A big Thanks to Bikeman, who volunteered to help with the pickup/loading at the infamous AAA outside of Bragg. I really, really appreciate it.
Truck finally showed up late yesterday afternoon. It fired right up and the motor runs solid. It needs some trans fluid and probably some trans work...
This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. My EUC should clear soon and this is where my truck is. I'm in CO and won't be there when my transport picks it up. I imagine it is going to turn into a huge #*%! show.
When I called the TSC this week, the helpful gentleman I spoke with told me that he was approving ones submitted around 7/13. And next week they will be approving ones from around 7/20 and so on.
Judging by recent approval posts, who knows if they are adhering strictly to that.
Still no...
Anyone in CO had experience with a SF97 and titling it as an Off-Road Vehicle? I'd prefer not to deal with a FL title and the extra fees along with the Out of State VIN Verification that has to be done by the State Patrol on out of state titled vehicles.
I get it, busy season, huge demand, etc. But it's frustrating to know they were given my EUC on 7/2, and it was "submitted" nearly 3 weeks later on 7/21. So once my EUC clears, how many weeks until I get "submitted" for a SF97.
I knew it would be a wait going into this, I'm not terribly...
Plenty warm here in CO. Truck is in NC and I reckon that picture was taken months ago. Betting the truck is going to show up even more stripped by the time my paperwork clears.
My guess would be time. They want to move as many trucks as possible as fast as possible. So some just go to auction without the "thorough" inspection.
I recently purchased and M988 and still waiting on paperwork...
In the meantime, I've only been able to show people pictures of my new project.
And someone asked me a question that stumped me. There is a Bracket/Mount/Part on the front of the truck that is also in front of the grill guard. It...
