DB2 pumps are very common in the diesel industry, most injection shops can rebuild them about 200 bucks and if they are decent folks sell you a book on them. They are really simple to do, used to rebuild them by the dozens in my previous life as a GM technician

See my avatar. I used the stock bed shortened by 36 inches, moved the axle back and lengthened the drive shaft by 11 inches. I think it worked out great

Find a good local rebuilder, you should not need to buy a new pump unless it suffered something really catastrophic
