I'm sending you a pm on the dash display. I'm interested in what's all involved with the install. Is this just reading info sent out on the 1708 or 1939 network?

Hey I saw in another thread one of your trucks that had a digital LCD for the main dash. Do you have info on this. I was told there that theres a thread for it but I've searched and haven't found it.
That's all Allison sensors though. Allison supplies an input shaft(RPM), turbine speed, and output shaft(tailshaft) speed sensors. These are on all the transmissions though. Wtec any to gen 4. The newer gen 4 can get two engine speed signals. Can take it from the engine ECU over the j1939...
It's not that I want the newest. Just happen to see differences in models so was curious what they were. Also some features make it easier to work on the truck, for me at least. So if I can get the features that make it easier for me right of the bar rather then doing major swaps then I'll do...
Almost all heui systems are bad for this. Oil changes and extra precautions pertaining to keeping the oil system clean will go a long way in keeping the fuel system good. Also on the C7 cat issued a later revised doc that has an update that adds a oil filter to the oil supply line to the heui...
That would make sense. That's good to know that the C7 is quieter then it's predecessors. For that bit of info alone I may Target those models.

So it looks like if I wanted the most updated truck is be looking for a 2007 or newer. I don't really care about the change in the bumper much so then 2005 and up for me. I'd like to have the general 4 trans and maybe the C7 cat. I haven't decided whether I want the 3126 or the C7. If I decided...
What are some of the major or even minor changes that happened to these from year to year. Ive been trying to narrow down a range of years I'm looking for but have had problems finding out what years had what equipment and what changes.
1.It looks like in 2000 they went from a mechanical...
The main reason I want to look at it is because I want to drive it home. I'm about 2.5hours from the base, well probably 3-3.5 hours in the LMTV. I mainly just want to be able to drive it. I don't mind any sort of problems, heck even a missing door would be fine, I'll drive with no door. I...
That makes sense. I initially thought maybe they were trying to make it a more level playing field for people since not every one bidding can get there to look at the rigs but that would make sense also.
