I am presently in New Jersey (soon to be, in October, relocating to Hatteras Island NC) but I have a great rebuild place in Morrestown NJ for the IP who does a great job on these things and hopefully tweak it a tad in the performance category....
Thanks for the reply.....not what I was hoping for, for you or me.....Trust me, I don't want to rip this all apart, I just finished putting in the new motor, this is the last thing I want to do...I will research all my options until I absolutely have to rip this all apart.....need five minutes...
I know this question is coming in two years later, but what was the final fix???? I just put in a fairly fresh A2 motor but I have the same issue....power and fuel getting to the mechanical IP but nothing getting to the cylinders.....Hate to have to pull off the intake and the whole front of...
Raklatif,,,,,,, I would have to say that being from Dubai, would more than likely make you an expert on sand driving..........Unless my sand is radically different, I will use your advice//....Thank you !!!
I am just now completing the install on a new motor and I already have the 4L80 pluged in...I will probably give the 400 mile trip a try.....once I know everything is running well....motors in at the moment but I have a unidentified battery drain which is driving me crazy.......

I have search but have not found any threads which address this specific issue:
I have basically rebuilt this M998 I have owned over the last two and a half years (My True Love, Don't Tell My Wife). New A2 motor, 4 speed 4l80, and too many other additions to mention.

I have already plugged in a 4L80, which is the best one thing you can do for your M998, my opinion of course. I have upgraded to from a 60 Amp Alternator to a 200.... serpentine belts....Thank God for TM print outs and Chris in Bucks County PA for his guidance in doing this engine swap...
Sorry, I have been away from this for a while...Thanks 94m998A1.....For me after changing everything out, trying to find the problem...I took off the new Half shafts I put on and put the old one back on (There was nothing really wrong with the old ones but I thought I should replace anyway)...

Thanks,
Richdane
