    'Fallen Armor' Junkyard Dio

Thanks for your critism. Appreciate it. Although the vehicles were not meant to be represented as heavy fire damaged vehicles, I do understand your point. I'll probably incoporate it into my next dio or make a few modifications to this one. The vehicles were just meant to represent moderate...

    'Fallen Armor' Junkyard Dio

Thanks duffman. The truck up in front is an Italeri m923 which I modified and added the armor. The container to the side is also Italeri. The scrapped M977 is another Italeri modefied model. The flatbed on the ground was scratch built and so was the back engine compartment bay, which I built...

    'Fallen Armor' Junkyard Dio

I thought I'd put together a small dio that somewhat depicts armor fallen to IED's or heavy attacks which left them totally destroyed and unusable. I ad seen quite a few pics of badly damaged vehicles, beyond repairs just put into a heap or collected together and placed into a 'Junkyard' type...

The Turkish Mobile Atilgan Launcher - 'What-If'

I was thinking about the fact the US made the Mobile 163 vulcan adapted from the Israeli's *version mounted on the M113 variant. So why not make a version of the Turkish mobile Atilgan. The US has a similar version on their Hummer known as the Avenger. So, this is my version of the turkish...

    Dug in Deep Dio

Thanks. The MK48 is 80% scratch built. I started with the M977 cabin and cut off the chassis. The rest was scratch built.

    Dug in Deep Dio

Hi guys. Nothing really new but was a bit bored and decided to put this old run down MK48 LVS into a Dio setting. As most of you military folks know, scenerio like these were common during the Iraq war and even today, if I'm not mistaken. Just wanted to do something to get my hands dirty. :) So...

    Some of my collection

Thank you for the comments. I appreciate your supportive words. The first time I saw plastic modeling was when I was around9 years old at a friends house. He build planes and he had them hanging from his ceiling, dresser and table. The whole room was filled of his pride and joy. Since then I had...
