Agree with wreckerman 100 percent . Also understand airbrake operating principle s. Mainly understand if you lose pressure stop ASAP or truck will stop without your permission .
would be good for roads or remote drives . commercial lots unless massive would be out of the question. also you would at least 10-11 foot plow that will be expensive. and also the reliabilty will be an issue. at 4 in the morning when something on the truck breaksdown, your Screwd. if you...
i didnt think about sideways mount. might be better to mount backwards starting at catwalk. will have to get my tape measure out to see how i can make it work.
So i have a 931 tractor I dont want to bob. i was thinking to mount my pop up camper but to want to cut it up. I am thinking to weld a trailer pin to the bottom of s250 and mount .I think that the cutout fenders would be perfect. i dont want to neccesarily make it a camper . Think swat team...
Well said I am always leary of wrenching on these big boys. Found that out building my bobbed. Take one intended part off end up replacing most of what it attached to. :)
yes that would work . you will have a **** of a time getting the fat aligator clips on jumper around outside terminal. same goes for the inner one. better to just jump battery to battery. i do this on occasion will my sterling civi truck. just go possitive to pos. and vice versa for neg.
hahahahahahahhahh . That was worth a laugh! I do agree sometimes the search is a PITA. On sidenote Doghead if I dont sell my 5 ton Imight want to export to Sweden not NY but the country. Any advice. I know the bobber cant go but I think the 5 can. anyone done this. My only concern would be...
i have a 931a2 with the 6cta it is quieter than my sterling rolloff truck with a 5.9 cummins in it i would leave truck running. i would worry more about havi ng to replace a starter!! it sounds like you dont have the truck go find one and hear it in person.
ive bought a 5 ton from fort drum and after 2 hours of poking around and fixing a few issues i drove home 145 miles without a hiccup. i also bought a duece 10 minutes from home and had a lowboy bring it to my shop. would never drive a duece i was unfamillar with anywhere.
So i started truck as usual. it was 27 degrees truck hesitated for a second or two then fired up waited for low air light to go out, released parking brake and next the strange part the low air buzzer remained on and the truck didnt want to move pedal to floor and bareley idled. a few minutes...
you would need a big mud bog to tell or a RTI ramp ( ramp travel index). they can be seen at off road events as the rig climbs the ramp eventualy one wheel is going to leave the ground. no locker and that is it for truck but , i have yet to see a ramp that would support a 5 ton. hehhehehehehheheheh
