    He wants you to do the jumper cable trick just in case you have a bad ground. I have a starter that was on a good running starting truck if you need a spare/test part will let it go for a good price.

    I would check the tcase for issues if the flywheel is alright. Mine did something similar and it was the tcase.

    I pulled as high as 22 on one trip when i had a 1009 since i went to 1008's the milage is rarely over 15

    sometimes fixing one thing fixes another, sometimes fixing some thing causes other problems. old MV trucks are tempermental (but fun)
