    Hood/cawl replacement

The cowl isn't the main problem, I would think the rockers are beings there box tube and then ends of mine are rusted out and the sides I don't know yet but I know theres a good bit of mud in them. As car as the cowl goes I would just cut the one off the perfect cab at the spot welds and tig it...

I'm not knocking the 5 tons - I would expect them to do better lol I'm just saying they were the only thing with a super single setup and I didn't notice much of a benefit if you guys had to back and forth it. And water yes you pushed it out but you didn't dig to much of the mud out for us...

    Hood/cawl replacement

Doesn't sound to bad minus the moving the cab, how heavy is it? As well I bought a full new front harness figuring sincei have it off just go for it. I knowlots of people with overhead lifts just nothing a duece can fit into. My metal shop is single floor 8ft ceilings, and no tree's or beams to...

    Hood/cawl replacement

I've got a parts duece that I'm not sure why it became a parts duece. (5,000 miles according to the odometer, and according to carnac) someone took the windows and bed but body remaining is perfect. The cab anywhere on the parts duece has no rust minus one surface dot on the fornt passengers...

    Offroad mods

How do the tires in a super single configuration compare to the dually setup in the rear of these trucks stock. Winch is a work in progress, I'm trying to find one locally, but can't seem to find one and have been told the 5 ton winch fits upside down but works properly and I have a lead on...

I just got my duece running perfectly, as can be expected lol, new gaskets, gauges etc. I'm still running stock tires but am debateing switching to super singles and larger size. Just debating how beneficial this would be over stock. As well I do offroad with this at rausch creek, and want to...

    Hood/cawl replacement

Hey did you ever try this? My cowl someone at some point stood on and it bent down enough from the window to let water in and apparently someone bondoed over part of it. I also have to tackle to rocker panels on both sides which sucks. But debating cutting the cowl and rockers off another cab I...

Deuce turn signal and oil gauge problems.

Lol I'm starting to feel that way... Got the oil pressure gauge to work the gauge back wasn't tight tightened it and works fine now. On the turn signal I hooked my power probe up and put the ground lead sending wise right on the worm clamp then tried the flasher unit ground... Same thing as...

Deuce turn signal and oil gauge problems.

The second Turn signal switch I hooked up wasn't even hooked to the column and it the light came on but turn signals didn't work. Yet the one hooked to the worm clamp's light to indicate on didn't even turn on solid like the one not hooked up and still didn't work. I'll hook my power probe up...
