Thanks, VPed. Your post is good news for me. My M35A2 is pretty much a show truck, painted back to 1971 OD and so far, I have not used the truck in water, so feel that the zippered boots should do the trick for me, as I'm pushing 76 yrs old, but still going strong and double-clutching always.

Hello, Fellas -
I have two new front axle zippered boots with clamps, but would appreciate any information on actually replacing these boots.
Thanks -

The bodyshop employee was wearing a very high quality respirator. The problem was the dust bothering other workmen in the same bay (large bays lots of trucks). They stopped working on the Deuce soon as problems started with other employees. None of us were aware at the time of the...
I am using a semi-gloss paint and areas that I've done look really nice, but those parts have not been out in the weather yet. I got the paint from Army Jeep Parts as it is to my understanding that is about the only place one can get that paint. Yes, I only use primer on bare metal. I don't see...

Interesting. The CARC on my Deuce was well applied and there's no rust no loose paint anywhere. I was thinking of using wet or dry sandpaper with water and only scuff enough so that new 24087 paint will stick.
Your thoughts?

Wet sandBLASTING or are you talking about wet SANDING paper? Would wet sandpaper application using wet or dry with water prevent this problem? That's a lot of truck to hand-sand, tho ... but it IS a way if there's no problem doing that. Thanks ...
I've received a lot of answers to my CARC question and appreciate all of them ... especially setting the Deuce on fire. Well, I'm not going to do that, but still don't know my next move on getting this truck painted.
Thanks again.

Hello, all -
My M35A2 is in a body shop that was going to paint the truck with 24087; I gave them 3-gallons plus a gallon of red oxide primer. They started sanding on the right door and just called me to say that they will paint it, but they will not sand it. They said the dust from sanding is...
Good thoughts on replacing all plastic fuel lines. I've been all over Syracuse trying to find new line, both the larger and the 1/4" lines with absolutely no luck. NAPA couldn't help at all, even with plugs. Anyone have any suggestions?
"... from the FDC to the HH and loop it back to the HH." ... I'm old and confuse easily ... loop it back to the HH or back to the FDC inlet? If HH, where?
thanks ... sorry to be a pain, but I'm trying to figure this out. I lifted the FDC and put a paper towel under it, turned on the switch and...
