My boys surprised me last weekend, and we managed to remove the old track from the Weasel! Now I can replace the bent front axle and check all the seals and bearings before I put the new track on. I really don't want to have to take it off again because I missed something! Only took about four...
I have a set of French track that needs to b e rebuilt, and the belting to do it with. I think the French track is much easier to rebuild than the US. I sold my XM410, which gave me the money to buy the new track for my Weasel. I will be removing the American track this spring to replace it so...
The brush guard is for my weasel. It wont be ready for any shows for at least a year.I have a lot of nos parts. bogie wheels, seats and canvas ,complete exhaust and new winter canvas .I am going to paint it in winter camo.Its in better shape than it looks,will add more pictures as the work...

Military numbers
I have found more numbers/letters on the right front. I did my best but couldn't control the stripper to just remove the top layers. Again, any ideas what these represent, please let me know. Thanks for the time and trouble--it's appreciated!
I did some careful sandblasting and came up with ORD CP CN. It looks like possibly four numbers in front of it; the last two appear to be 28. Any ideas on who this might be; please let me know.
