I find that SEM or Mar-Hyde brand is the best dye for vinyl. It actually permeates the material rather than sitting on top and peeling or rubbing off later. Dupli-Color is the worst for coming off. Also, be sure the vinyl is VERY clean and use the prep solvent that they sell before...

Another thing that works quite well is the motorcycle/ATV lifts that Craftsman and the like sell. They are also adjustable in height so you can jack up the truck and leav it there then slide the wheel/drum assemblies off.

The data plate definitely has it, and it also says "M35A2 W/W" so it was definitely changed at rebuild time. Guess the guy stamping that day had his own little system. :-D
