    Formal Introduction and a M35

I have searched ebay and some local listings. I have not been able to find a truck that is somewhat local (so I don't have to pay for shipping) and ready to go. Maybe Im looking in the wrong places? I found a couple near MD. But it looks like they are just re selling what the bought from GL. If...

    Formal Introduction and a M35

I dont mind paying more for a truck, because I want to start enjoying it immediately. I understand that I will have to do routine maintenance and fix minor things here and there. I do not want to purchase a truck that has issues like - "Radiator was leaking, hood was in HORRIBLE shape (would...

    Formal Introduction and a M35

Where can I get a truck for 6-10k with all of those above mentioned items WITH fresh paint. The A3 wheel bearings alone are $800 and change a piece X 6 wheels thats $4,800 - $5,000 And rumor has it they don't even make the A3 bearings anymore so prices will continue to rise on them as stock...

    Formal Introduction and a M35

Really, you guys think this a high price? I mean it is, don't get me wrong. But, they are doing a lot here. Stuff I don't have time for or may not even know how to do. Wheel bearings- They are changing all of them and converting them to A2 bearings. Dropping the gas tank and cleaning all the...

    Formal Introduction and a M35

I actually went and looked at that one. Needed paint, radiator was leaking, hood was in HORRIBLE shape (would need replacing), air dryer didn't work, tach didn't work, and the parking break didn't work. Thats when I started thinking might be better for someone else (dealer) to fix all those...

    Formal Introduction and a M35

So.... I just received a quote from two different dealers. They are both around the $20,000 mark. I have to admit, that is some sticker shock.... BUT, I guess I have to consider what they are doing to it before I get it. Im looking for "Turn Key" "The truck will be a clean low mileage model...

What is better (oil or trans fluid)

is that o-ring something that you have to drop the tranny for? I will try and do a search on that later. Thanks!

What is better (oil or trans fluid)

Im not sure of the original posters intent with the truck. I'm still in informational gathering stage at the moment. I hope to get an A3. Thats what I was thinking, multiple fluid flushes etc. For my application it wont be doing any heavy work. Maybe just a load of rock or mulch now and...
