Nice HMMWV to say the least

Really replica guns? Well that ruins it. Headsets with ear plugs. With one shot the concussion that close to anyone in that truck would be saying “huh?” For the rest of their lives. It is a cool set up though. Like it!!!

    Chains

Drove a truck or two in snow ice, etc. alcan several times. I prefer to chain up rear axle if that’s all that I need. reason is that the forward (rear) axle, or tandem will pack down the snow and give a better grip on snow. Also the steer axle has a little more leverage and unless the steer...

Adding 2” receiver hitch to HMMWV and hit a snag

Or just remove the safety chain plate (that will gain you a 1/4”) then cut it in basically thirds and use the two outboard sections (chain loops) and outboard bolts to secure the cut down safety chain loops.

Drum to hub safety wire help

My apologies for making it clear as mud? Your safety wire would be great if they where left hand thread bolts

Drum to hub safety wire help

Wire should keep torque on fasteners. in other word, wire should keep bolts pulling tighter. Your picture shows a few pulling “looser”

M35A3- Changed transmission fluid now won't move?

Idle with the trans in drive and try going through the gears. Did the filters in ours and filled a little over and had no problems and and after a short drive fluid level was good.

    Straight pipe post turbo

One thing to consider is where that heat goes after exiting? Like is your rear axle going to be in that heat stream? and I would not be concerned about noise because the vanes on the turbo normally??? do a good job of mitigating and absorbing the exhaust pulse noise.
