I don't know what it makes for horsepower. I wish I did. I think it gained a good bit of torque because it goes up hills faster now.
It smokes like an old time freight train, but I like that.
Here is the finished header I talked about building a year ago. Some people said, "Why not put a turbo on it." Well, basically I wanted to do something outside the norm. So I built an entire header and stack from scratch. It is a 2" primary pipe into a 3" Y into a 4" down pipe to a 4" straight...
How do I remove the fuel injectors? I removed the two retaining bolts and the plastic hose at the top, what do I do next? The thing is stubborn and i don't want to break it. I'm running out of ideas..
I've been searching for a while and can't find anything that talks about the injectors.
Thanks.
I forgot to mention that I plan to do a Cummins swap in the future and the header idea was also a cheaper option than the turbo. And it seems like with 22:1 compression the engine would be happier with a header than it would with a turbo.
My Deuce is not turbocharged. And I have looked into turbocharging it, but every time I do, I run into many statements saying the turbo does not ad that much power and that all it was meant to do is cut down on smoke and make it slightly more efficient.
So that got me thinking.. I've put...
My Deuce leaks water from between the two heads. And I'm guessing it's either a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Has anyone ever had this problem??
By the way, I did not use the search option. But I know it's there! Thank you.
Does anyone know where to get exhaust manifold gaskets and intake manifold gaskets for a multifuel?? I'm specifically talking about where it bolts to the head.
I have a non-turbo multifuel. Everything I have read about these motors say that turbos were only added to cut down on smoke and make...
I'd like to ask another question about my off-road/tow vehicle, has anyone ever bobbed a deuce using semi truck single-axle air bag rear suspension. Obviously it works well for towing, but would that setup limit me off road? Flex, durability, etc..
I appreciate all the suggestions. Thanks.
It's going to be an off road truck primarily and only used for pulling things no bigger than you would pull with a 3/4 ton pick up. One thing I know I will need is a 12 volt electric brake controller and also wiring for the lights.
aggo, I thought about doing a flat bed. But going back to my original plan, if I were to purchase a 105 trailer I could haul anything I need in there.
dilli, braking may be an issue with big trailers, but I will keep the trailers relatively small until I do some up grades. I think I may extend...

I have a Deuce that I plan to bob. I would like for it to have sort of a rock crawler look and capability. I have no need for a 12 foot bed and I got to thinking, maybe I don't need a bed at all.
If I were to install a 5th wheel on a single axle deuce it would be much lighter than a bed, and...
