Not related to your issue but have you changed all other fluids and greased the truck per the LO? If not, you should.

A1's have grease fittings.

The A2's did not have grease fittings. Install them and forget about it. I just replaced uppers and lowers on mine. Guy

I bought from a friend that lives locally. He bought it from Wheelspinner. Guessing it was put on a trailer to get here. Guy

First ride in 2022. Parked truck in early November and unhooked the batteries. It's in the 50's here today so felt like going for a ride. Truck started right up with no hesitation. Did about 30 miles, truck ran great.

I plan on going and will have M151 body panels. I think we also have M38 bumpers in stock that I'll also take. Guy

I'd make a few phone calls to local weld repair shops and ask if you can bring the truck to them to weld the nut or bolt or whatever on the bogus plug. That would be a lot less work than pulling the hub.

Agree. We make them per a customers requirements and it's "his" product.

As stated in the original post, depending on your situation, this can be an option as a deterrent. On a 151, that little rivet can prevent your coil from getting fried when little Skippy turns your ignition on because his parents didn't teach him not to mess with other people's property...
