PB, you got a good spirit. You're a good man. Thanks for that:
We might be right. We might be wrong.
All we know for sure is that we DON'T know. That is all we can be sure about.
Right? Stuff happens. Like the bud could have dropped dead -God forbid- of a massive heart attack the day after...
I think there might be a "Maryland Member" thread (for posting about get-togethers and that kind of thing).
My "gray matter" goes gray on me sometimes:
- but does that sound right to anybody?
The sheetmetal patch has just the slightest radius on it (at the outboaqrd edge):
- How did you finesse that bending without putting a crease in the metal?
That's the way it always goes in any situation like this, right?
Not sure which direction is the right one, 50/50 chance of picking the correct one, and OF COURSE the one you pick (and go with) is the wrong one...
:naner:
Nice score!
You saw it up close, so you know about the metal work needed.
But from the pic, the sheetmetal looks good-to-great, where are the problem areas?
Agreed compeletely with the idea of just "hammer 'em out" and drive, but you never know:
- Maybe the bud bondo'ed the first dent or two, and then felt like he couldn't go back (because he was already in so deep)
Who knows?!
Cancelled for 2020 understandably (dire circumstance dictates dire measure), but surely the postponed Sixth will have it's day in the sun someday, don't you think maybe, GUNNUT?
2021? 2022? 2222?!!!
