    Rear camber

Now that the toe has been adjusted, is there anything else that I can expect as far as tire wear? Front tires have been fine before toe adjustment. Rear tires wearing evenly strait across before toe just at an alarming rate. Stated by several people that camber was more for cosmetic reasons if...

    Rear camber

Its interesting that as far off as the front caster is, the vehicle drives strait with no wear or at least very little even wear to the front tires. I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary on the way the vehicle handles. The rear camber appears to be more cosmetic as the rear tires were...

Good evening , I went to a local auto shop to get the Toe adjusted. My 1989 M 998 Humvee would not fit on there machine as the Humvee was to wide. It was recommended that I go to a Firestone as they have a full size alignment machine. I did and my Humvee was able to fit on their machine. Had 4...

Interested in buying a 90 6.2 Hmmv with 59,000 miles. New guy here!

All 4 tires had been replaced since some of these pics. Front tires are 90% tread. You are correct on rear tires. Rear tires are being eaten alive every time I drive vehicle. I need to get the Toe adjusted. Its a shame , myself also being a new Humvee owner, replaced all 4 tires and had no idea...

Interested in buying a 90 6.2 Hmmv with 59,000 miles. New guy here!

I inserted some pics of the before and after transformation of my Humvee. The previous owner had done all of the work. Original picture is from owner upon delivery from base. This is a 1989 6.5 liter non turbo charged. 48,000 miles. Transmission swap to 700R with electronic over drive. (75 miles...

You just made my day!!! Now for the million Dollar question: Where would I get the toe set on my Humvee? I live about 30 miles north of Houston Tx. Would NTB tires do that type of work, a dealership possibly, or do I need to find a specialty shop? When I do find a shop that will do this type of...

    Rear camber

Where the tires are wearing evenly, just at an alarming rate, do I need to remove the shims or can the toe be adjusted to specs with the shims left in? I'm under the impression that other than an aesthetic look, as long as the tires are wearing evenly, which they are, then the camber is fine...

Thank you for the advice. Your not to late as I have not moved forward with this particular project as of yet. I need to act soon as it seems every time I drive the vehicle the tires are visibly worn. Thanks again..

Humvee audio systems: What have you added / done to your rig ?

Installed 4 - 8" Kicker Marine Speakers powered by a 500 watt JL Audio Marine Amp. The Amp is mounted to the backside of the 6" tube. The system is all Bluetooth. This system surpassed my expectations on volume and clarity. Really loud and clear.
