Driveline Clearence
Now it seems that after my install of the 4bt, and a 2 inch lift for clearance for the engine valve cap, leaves the oil pan in the way for front drive line. After review of how others have swapped 4bts. It looks like they might have raised the engine to get the drive line...
My next problem is the speedometer and dash gauges. I didn't want to change them out but the speedometer is only to 60 and Due to the lose/not needed old wiring/harnesses. I having trouble with some connection issues.

Finally finished the doghouse. Used some Spectrum sludge from Second skin audio on the back along with some thermal barrier to help with the heat transfer.
I don't know, I didn't even try. Regular Powder coating is quite durable. So i went with a company nearby. They had to do a two stage coating to get it to the flat black that I wanted. The regular flat black as they refer to it had a slight shine to it. We will see how it turns out.
Upgrades Doghouse
I had to make a new dog house due to the new engine and the old style doghouse didn't fit anymore. Dropped it off to be powder coated. Hope it turns out good.

So I decided to run 24v and 12v due to various reasons. So it took me a while to find a solid way to run it after reading all the pros and cons. I decided to go with a DC/DC charger for the 12v bat and use the alt to charge the 24v batt and power the DC/DC charger.

I will let you know about the LINEX. There has been a delay with Mechanic. The truck and engine/tran should get started in two weeks. So im hoping that I will see it in a few months. Then off to do the electrical etc....

CARC Paint might give you trouble unless you do it yourself or have a shop that will let you do it under the radar. I have been told, at least in Cal, that due to the CARC paints chemicals its not allowed to be sprayed. The Gov makes their own rules. I could be wrong on this but I have...
