    Sunday Ride

I was pleased with the condition of the fluids that were changed. They were cleaner then I thought they'd be. The grease fittings were pretty hungry. The underside of the truck is also in very good condition.

    Sunday Ride

Thought I'd share a few pictures of our ride last Sunday. I let my brother and his wife drive the Humvee and we drove the 151. On Saturday I changed engine, trans, transfer case, diffs and geared hub oils. Also greased all fittings, looked things over, etc. Was a challenge getting truck on...

    M35 rocker panel repair

I think it's because it was listed as "ipcoating. Should be "Lpcoating".

Also, all of our presses have CNC controllers / back gauges. Dimensions won't be an issue. Guy

    M35 rocker panel repair

I ask about the radius in an attempt to match the original. On the M151 parts, most of the panels are 18ga, .187" inside radius. When you see a repair done with smaller radius, it sticks out a mile away. I have a '54 M221 I could look at. I'd think that would be similar for the radius? Guy

    M35 rocker panel repair

Hello. What is the inside bend radius? Looks like the dimensions are all "outside" dimensions? And to confirm, 18 ga crs, .048" thick? Guy

Yes, I will absolutely review info and look everything over. As an owner of a 151 A2, I know that the grease gun is my friend. Thank you for the post. Guy

    1987 AM General

Thanks for the input guys. I purchased the truck. Going on vacation next week and then have to get my 151A2 ready for the Weare, NH show at the end of July. Have some small issues that need to be addressed on the A2. I won't be able to do much with the "new" truck until August. I'll...

    1987 AM General

Hello people. I'm looking for some opinions on this truck and the current market value. Let me make a statement first: I know very little about these trucks. So far my MV life is a M151A1, M151A2 and a recently purchased M221. A friend has this truck and I find myself interested. As...

51R Battery Hold Down for M151

Opting for the originals would mean that you are using the original battery and these would not fit. These are used with the 51 R battery which is smaller than the original battery. The stock battery hold down is too large for the 51R unless it's modified. The intent of this hold down is for...

    1954 M221 - new purchase

No, I see no mention of winch. To your point, it is a good install. All of the bolts appear to be correct and are the same. So, not an issue for me, just thought I'd mention. Guy

    1954 M221 - new purchase

I had a friend point out the the front bumper is upside down for the winch option. It appears (I think) that someone added the winch and wound it from the bottom if that makes sense. I know very little about this but when I look at the winch side guide brackets and pictures on line this makes...
