    Artisan's M916

Must be humbling for sure, but humility is not an all bad thing because you ARE still doing. Good for that! We can count our blessings where we can, and I will pray for you, Artisan! Please pray for me. Amen

Doesn't appear to be any gasket at the pump fitting, is that not needed, or am I just not seeing that right?

    1941 Bren Carrier, Type 1

The Bren "Carrier". Wonder what weapons it carried? Guess I need to "go to the video"... https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/gb/universal_carrier.php

    1941 Bren Carrier, Type 1

If it's reasonably restored and operational, that price tag isn't all bad, you know?

No rust, looks great! Is that a heat-pump unit on the "box", or is that A/C only?

    1941 Bren Carrier, Type 1

Impressive production, the factory output and the film propoganda both! Little known also is that (if I remember it right), in spite of all the allied bombings, that German industrial output during 1944 was stronger than any previous year during WWII. If it is accurate, it is likely not well...

    M816 wrecker King of Obsolete

I used to work with an air reservist (F4-Phantoms, Kansas Air National Guard). I remember him tellimg me once that ANY landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

Wrecker is a "beaut", and so is the Beechcraft, nice! Are you planning on making the Beechcraft airworthy again?!

There's only like 35 people total who live in the whole state of Wyoming, right? Can't you all just get together over a beer and hammer all this out?!

European scrap - salvage yards and parts suppliers

Interesting that the windscreen/ windshield of the one rig is single-piece and of the other (in background) is two-piece. Wonder what that was about? Maybe just ease of assembly, or less expense in repair? Something else? Does anybody know the story there?

    WY/CO Chapter

There has to be written policy of some kind, one way or the other. The written policy (whether code or legislation), is the marching order of any bureaucrat of any stripe. Knowing that, my experience (from running construction permits way back in the day) was that bringing along a box of...

What did you do in the way of gaskets for each of the fits? Maybe air fittings don't require gaskets like liquid fittings, and maybe the heat would fry any gaskets anyway, not sure there. I don't know much, simp5782. But I WANT to know. What's the story?

    G749 preservation

I'm guessing that Winter is back, for this year anyway. I got two old hockey buddies who now live in Anchorage, one in-town and one outside the city, and they tell me the temperature there currently is mostly plain "nothing" (zero).

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

Stumpy looking airframe, kind of brings to mind a bobbed deuce and that whole stubby look.
