The transmission OD kit is no longer available. You could go to a web site that calculates gear ratio and speed, including tire size, and see how much switching to taller tires would help your goals.

Installed brass hose barbs in place of the axle vents, ran a clear plastic hose up to the bed crossmember or firewall for front axle, terminated hose with a cheapo small engine fuel filter, and presto. No more stupid sticking axle vents....and better water proofing in...

I did another 70 mile round trip into the big City to pick up an aluminium car port at a warehouse. 12 ft long box, some 600 lbs. No problem...and the tail gate closed! At least this time it was not pouring rain, which made for a much more fun drive.

There actually was a kit available in years past for the manual engagement of the sprag case that, from what I hear, worked really well and was very popular. It was produced by one of the then leading MV refurbishers. Maybe what you have is one of these?

If you have filters with an anti-drain-back valve (good!) installed, there will not be much difference in oil levels one minute after shutdown and hours after shutdown because the only oil that adds itself to the pan is what little comes down from the engine internals, not...

The weak rod bolts (regular hex head) were in the past credited for many connecting rods escaping to the outside of the engine block. The recommendation from many threads on this forum has been to drop the oil pan and replace them with the stronger 12 point ones, available for Oliver/White...
