GL and GP are two totally different animals. GL does not give a crap if you ever buy from them again they have HORRABLE management and customer service. GP has been a pleasure to work with and I have bought about 10 trucks from them now. They had a few hiccups but always made it right.
I had a...
Nice write up....
Try some dawn dish soap next time for lube to get it to slide into place in the frame.
I have my local glass guy cut the glass (auto glass) $27 per side which hurts less then $80 something plus shipping.
on the gasket, Mac motors is considerably cheaper.
I would be surprised if GP would not make that right and send you a set. Especially if they were in the photos from the auction. Did you call them?
there are lots of those on the popular auction site that I think I am not supposed to say their name.
They are pretty easy to work with at that location. it is off base so no issues clearing. We haul ours on a big trailer. Never tried a U haul but have seen guys here do it.
Is it a running unit?
It went smoooooth got the first one home and running in 45 minutes. I had to replace the batteries, and the Smart box. I still have some work to do to it. needs glow plugs, maybe a tcu controller, and likely the power steering pump. The second truck had a huge hole in the gas tank we are...
Going to try to get them on Monday or Tuesday at Warner robins. Not sure if I can get both in one day it is about a 2 hour drive and can only fit one on the trailer at a time.
Well I just checked my EUC for my two new hmmwv's for the the heck of it and found out the cleared last week after just 9 days!!!! :jumpin: No notification from GP.
That at has to be some kind of record!!!!
if you have a EUC pending I would check it.
Hi Guys anyone here able to pick up 3 25 pound boxes for me out of Mechanicsburg PA before Thursday Oct 1?? they weight 25 pounds total and measure 44x59x12

I have a question for some of the HMMWV experts on here, about ball joints.
I have a 87 M998 I am working on. It has the old style ball joints on the uppers with the 5/16 inch bolt holes and 3/8 bolt holes on the bottom. I have read a little about the old 5/16 ones failing and am also having...
I am trying to find out if I need to mount a pintle hitch extension (Like the one in the photo) to an airlift bumper if we mount a rhino tire carrier? We intend on pulling our trailer.
Thanks,Mike
Just take it off measure/ trace it and reinstall. I rebuild the hubs on every Hmmwv I get and to take this part off clean and replace you are only looking at about 10 to 15 minutes once the wheel is off. Make sure you use some gasket maker on it when you replace it.
