There are three more trucks that I am going to sell and just be down to just a few CUCVs. But those I am gonna sell as they are in better shape and I don't have fond memories of working on them with my dad etc. Just didn't want the M 715 to get cut up for parts or resold.
Well I decided to start this thread to give a little history of my M715 and its transition to it's new owner who is another SS member. I got the M715 back in 96 or 97 I think. I bought it from a rancher in Wimberly who bought it from the local FD. I did some work on it and it was on ranch duty...
Well the SEE has been sold and delivered to it's new owner. As always it was sad to see it go but sounds like it is off to someone who is going to get more use out of it then I would be able to. Well on to the next project.
Adding a few more pictures of the SEE. Have the interior out now to get one of the seats redone and to make it easy to clean and work in the cabin. Got some rust spots that will need some work too.
Hoses replaced. Cross over lines for the boom cylinders had some sort of sealant used on them that had to be taken out with a dental pick but other then that they went right in. Now just waiting on the right tools to do the other two.
Well got a few things done on the Unimog today. I started changing out the last of the original hoses that had dry rotted. Thankfully most every hose on this machine has all ready been replaced by the army. There are only 8 left that need to be replaced. I got six of them off a new ones built...
Well I guess I need to join this thread. Here is my Unimog. Does anyone some commercial part numbers for the filters (Oil, fuel, Air, ETC) for these trucks? I can not seam to find them. Thanks
Well after a brief 3 years I got the Unimog back in the shop. I have come to the decision that it is going to be time to sell it. It is a bummer because it is super cool and only has 450 miles and 50 hours on it but I could use the money for other things and I don't really use it enough. Took...
Well it has been to long since I worked on this truck that has be seeing ranch duty for the last few years. Not much to add but did install a new fuel filter base and filter with a hand primer pump on it. But more to come.

Funny you saw those trailers at Riskie Fleet. Those are one I got a while back. I am lagging on getting the tile for one as it is missing the VIN. One is in decent shape and the other need two new axles. I sell one for the right price  . Does any one know if there is a way to find...
I got one of the wreckers out of MS a while back and it turns out it is missing the auto throttle but other wise seems to be all there. I am not familiar with the auto throttle. Do I need to replace with an auto or can I just swap in a regular throttle from any 939 Series? Also any one know...
Finally some more progress. I hammered out the dent the the drivers door and replaced the rubber around the window and doors which was much easier then I thought it would be.
Well I was in need of a good off road work truck so I have decided to build another M1028. Some of you may have seen my first build of a M1028. Link to the thread
