She lives once again! Apparently my lift pump doesn't have enough in it to pull diesel from the tank with empty lines.
Thank you for all of your ideas they helped me figure out my own technique to prime my fuel lines.
I bought this today Multi-Use Transfer Pump
I got lucky and it fits...
Fellas,
Just replaced the fuel sending unit and got the fuel gauge to finally work....replaced the rubber lines from the tank to the metal fuel lines. We did let the lines hold the tank and replaced them plus the filler neck. Now I am having problems priming the fuel system (multiple cranks...
Here is the three they show on rockauto.com (which one?):

Sorry for the confusion and poor wording. What is the stock fuel tank size for the M1009 and what fuel sending unit do I need.
Here is the trouble shooting info on the fuel gauge:
Thank you all very much for the help. Slowly I am shooting the trouble. Turns out the gauge does work and after a...
I provided them with the part number from TM and Napa claims that there is two different sizes (25 and 30 gallon tanks). Anyone have a good website to order from?
Thanks,
Casey
Fellas,
Finally found why my fuel gauge was not working and its the Fuel Sender assembly not working. My questions is, what size tank do I have (Napa claims there is 25 & 30 gallon tanks)? Any recommendations on a good place to order a new one? Could not find much helpful information on the...
Thank you all very much for the help. Slowly I am shooting the trouble. Turns out the gauge does work and after a bunch of cuss words and broken fragile pieces I got the gauge to move to "F" while connected to the harness. Turns out the culprit to the dead gauge was dirty connections...
Sounds like your gauge moved before you cleaned the connections?
Currently my fuel gauge sits on empty and will not move unless i use a 12v jumper wire where the sender wire hooks up. Now it is stuck on "F" full, Is the needle supposed to return to "E" empty when current is no longer applied...
I got the dash pulled off this afternoon. I can only get the gauge to move if I add 12v to the pin on the fuel gauge that is supposed to be where the resistance is. Does this mean my guage is busted or good?
The harness has one wire reading 12v which is the third pin from the bottom on the...
Fellas,
My fuel gauge I believe is shot (needle is past the E and all connections seem to be in tact). Where would be a good place to look for a replacement gauge?
Thanks in advance,
Casey
Fellas,
I have been having problems with my front battery. Just replaced the battery and driver side alternator (gen 1 light was coming on and reading low volts when started) ...after all was put in place:
Fried this wire, 3rd connection from the left:
Now it will not start and appears...
Anyone have a good place to have the generators rebuilt in the DFW area? My Gen 1 light is coming on and killing my batteries after a weekend of driving.
