I have a 86 CUCV 1009 that I keep at my deer lease. Was wondering what would be the best oil filter, air filter and oil to use in extremely dusty conditions? Thanks for the help.

At one time I charged the batteries without disconneting them...would this effect the problem we are having? It started right up countless times before hand, but could one batteries not working proberly be the problem of the dash lights and ignition not starting? The head lights do work so I...
Not to change the topic, but if you were to charge the batteries hook up...what will happen? I have done that before and it started up time after time and then one day it stopped...but I am able to jump the starter relay and it worked fine??
Is there any other relays on the steering column itself that typically go bad? It sucks that the vehicle is 300 miles away, but we would like to get every idea now because there is no internet access at our deer lease...
The headlites are currently working...come to think of it, the red wire across the firewall has been cut and taped back together (I wonder if there is a bad connection or something).
Depending on how long you want the paint to hold up, I would suggest Urethane Automotive paint...Sherwin Williams paint is cheap! This is what we spray commercial metal buildings with and will hold up for 5 years before chalking or fading (and its only 5% fade each year). Or if you 10 years...
