Big score today... for me anyway.

Well, my neighbor got ahold of me last night and told me he had some tires for sale I might be interested in. He'd heard I was working on a Deuce. He's less than three miles up the road so I figured I'd go check em out. 100% tread 15.5/80R20 Michelin XLs I got em for slightly more than the...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

Nah dude, not your fault. I should have been paying attention. Took me less than an hour to fix it. Wasn't any big deal. Yeah today was productive for sure. My neighbor just informed me via txt that he has 4 new 46" tires he wants to get rid of. Trying to get ahold of him to find out more info...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

Yeah, went back after lunch, picked up the old HH and guess what was wrapped around it? The 2nd o-ring!! geez... Anyway, I took it all apart put 2 new o-rings in there and drained the case again. I drained 14 gallons out this time. replaced the oil and lit it back up. I watched the fuel in the...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

This morning I went and got another 12 gallon and dumped in the tank. Started the truck, let it idle, watched the fuel level in the tank. It was quickly diminishing fuel so I figure it's still dumping fuel into the crankcase. First thing I did was pull the cover off the engine shut off. I...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

There's 2? I only saw the one large one around the base of the HH aua Also, not sure what you're referring to as a boost pump. Sorry, really new to this multi-fuel stuff.

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

Alright, I bypassed the FDC after changing the oil. I had put 12 gallons of fuel in the other night before all this. I got the truck fired back up awhile ago and let it idle looking for leaks. It idled roughly 5 minutes and then it's sucked the tank dry. My question now is this: If the FDC was...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

I went ahead and changed the oil. I drained roughly 12 or 13 gallons of diesel/oil out of it. I'm looking at bypassing the FDC and hoping that fixes this issue.

    Crancase vent problem

This is the first time I've run it. I idled around about 400 yards or so. Didn't run it hard in the least. I haven't changed the oil yet but plan to do that in the next day or so. I just replaced the Hydraulic Head.

    Crancase vent problem

I posted this question in my other thread but thought since it was a different issue I'd put up a new one. I got my Deuce Multi running today for the first time. It runs really nice and smooth, sounds strong but after about 1 minute at idle it starts bellowing oil out of the crancase vent tube...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

Well, it's alive now. It started right up after I got everything bled and whatnot. I drove it in a big circle and parked it, walked around the front of the truck and there was a HUGE puddle of oil under it. It's just pouring oil out of the crankcase vent tube... what's that all about? Stuck ring...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

Alright, I got the rebuilt HH all installed today and all the high pressure lines put back on. Gear dropped in with the red mark lined up in the timing window (removed that way too) fuel cut off lever functioning smoothly and positioned correctly. fifteen gallon of diesel in the tank. All fuel...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

I think it was actually off before I pulled the HH. As tight as it clipped on and as easily as the HH came out I don't think it fell off when I removed it. The HH just slid out smooth as glass. No tapping or anything. Lucky I even noticed it down in there. Oh and nevermind on the bolt... that...

M35A2 fuel to injectors diagnostic issue

Alright, I finally got back to this today. I have the old HH pulled and a rebuilt one sitting here ready to install. (Thanks gimpy) Anyway, when I pulled the old one and looked down in the case there was a little hockey puck shaped piece of steel, concave on one side and a 3 pronged clip (lack...

    hydraulic head view?

Well, mainly what I am wanting to know is what's under that center bolt. I took it out before and made sure the fuel was flowing and what not but an old timer today was showing me a similar HH and the center bolt on it had a couple pieces up inside of it like a distribution valve or something of...

    hydraulic head view?

I was wondering if there is an exploded view somewhere of the Hydraulic head on my 67 Multi-fuel? I searched a bit but no luck so far.

    Might have found some tires

On a Deuce. Hmmm, this dude said he put a tape measure on em. Guess I'll have to go check for myself now... possible that he doesn't know how to read lol. Thanks.

    Might have found some tires

I think I might have found some tires locally. They're Michelin 16R20's I was told that they measure right at 48" tall. Would these be a good fit?
