I have no plans on ever purchasing a Military truck, so I hope to lop off the plug and wire on a civilian plug. Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks,
Brent
Here comes another question about the M101. How do we convert the 24v system to 12v. I removed one of the tail-light covers and found 4 bulbs. Do I need to replace all 4 bulbs? And the military plug, just cut it off and wire up a civilian plug to the existing cord This is the first fix I want to...
Thank you. I am going to use the trailer for hauling my ATV and am now thinking I might be able to use the dump feature to load and unload. Might be possible.....Looks mighty steep however, but not much steeper than the ramp I use to load into the bed of my truck.

Hello All,
I just got back from Ft. Carson with my first trailer, a M101. Now I have read that some of the M101's have the capability of dumping, but thought the one I was getting would not. Now after looking at it, I think it will dump. It does have the connections at the front of the trailer...
Thanks for all the tips. I am heading to Ft. Carson in the morning. I will throw in a tire pressure gauge and think I am set with all the other tools on the list. I am sure I am going in with way too many tools, but better prepared I say. Wish me luck....

I was told removal days are Monday thru Thursday, a morning session and afternoon. I am scheduled for the 18th at 9:00. Can't wait and hope it goes well.

Hello All,
I have been granted my trailer down at Ft. Carson. I hope to pick-up next week. I am going to run to the Big R for my pintle hitch. I am going to borrow some magnetic lights from a friend. Are there any other must have tools to make this process easier? Have most of you just hitched...
You guys know the process!!! Got notified via e-mail from BC that I am paid and need to contact the site for removal!!!! Just about Show Time....

Update....Yesterday I received a letter from BC, something about export regulations of certain military equipment. I had already signed something from GL about export regulations. This letter I received from BC required no action on my part, apparently just an FYI regarding export, which I have...
Update.......still sitting at BC. Running out of patience and it has only been about 3 weeks since auction end. I just don't have the stomach for waiting I guess.....
Brent
Yes, first EUC and I am already growing impatient. Patience is not one of my strengths. It has been at Battle Creek for about 9 days now, no updates. &#)@&#$_@#&*......

So if I run down to my local Big R store, any of their pintles will work for me? They are all the same size, just differnt ratings? Then get myself an adjustable height mount and I am set?
Thanks,
Brent
So my trailer is coming home soon! Can't wait. It has only been about two weeks since the end of the auction, but I am getting pretty excited. It has moved faster than I thought it would.

1STDeuce,
Nice trailer! I just won an auction for the same model. Still waiting on the paperwork, so I have not taken ownership yet. Wondering if you could let me know the inner dimensions of the trailer, length and width? Also, what is the width between the wheel wells? I am hoping like heck...
Hello All,
First post here and have a question about what pintal hitch I need for my truck.
I recently came in as the high bidder on a M101-A1 trailer. I am going to use it for my ATV and general utility hauling. Tow vehicle will be an '06 Dodge 2500 with Cummins. What pintal setup should I be...
