the lubrication guide shows OE/HDO-10 as the lubricant for the power steering. So does that mean i should just run a 15w40 or can i run the same AW32 hydraulic fluid I'm running in the backhoe since that system also originally called out OE/HDO-10

i did that and made a huge mess due to the drain location being directly over the fuel tank :) I was wondering more if there is a flush process to get all the fluid out of the cylinders as well or do you just have to disconnect lines at each cylinder to drain them all? I went ahead and drained...

how would you go about attaching the cylinders to a fixed object? do you try to clamp along the cylinder or do you only grab onto the end where the pin goes through? if its accessible, i would think leaving one end attached to the truck would be a good way to hold it to break the caps loose.

chains are a yes. i considered using hte backhoe but honestly i'm nervous, it might not be apparent in the picture but its leaning to the side quite a bit and i'm nervous to deploy the weight of the backhoe without tipping it over.... side note, i've never used the backhoe so i'm not skilled...

i had that happen a few times this winter. taking the cap off the fuel filter i could blow off the gunk/ice with carb cleaner and it would be back to full power for the rest of the job.

i looked again at this after posting the picture and it looks like the missing chunk is not the groove that the hyd pump belt rides in. I dont know what that groove is for but it doesn't look like it affects anything on my truck.

there is a chunk missing from my pulley... wonder how long the new belt is going to last.

thanks for the pictures. the hydraulic pump belt snapped yesterday so I have no choice except to try the replacement. I am not up for cab tilting this winter so your pictures should be helpful.
