M817 dump-excavator
It works great off road and in tight spaces,on the road it is underpowered,but I didnt buy it for road use.Its fine when empty,but loaded down its slow on the road.It would be the last one of my mv trucks I would ever sell.Its my baby..- jcappeljr

buying a 5 ton Wrecker
I agree with Bruce,they are heavy and way under powered{M816}.I waited for years to get one and finally got one last year,I kept it for 6 months and sold it.It was easier for me to use my backhoe or excavator to pick things up. They are awesome trucks though.- jcappeljr

Its not that it cant be hauled with the 817,I just prefer not to.Lack of power,and to big of a difference between 3-4 gear ratio.We have a lot of hills around here.- jcappeljr
