    problem starting the deuce.

Since you did attempt to find the solution and had issues, I created a sticky from other peoples threads. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?143476-How-to-remove-the-Fuel-Shutoff-Rod-on-the-IP Very easy to do. Just DO NOT loose the "jesus" clip and the plunger sleeve pin (tit).

    Glow plug question

You could run 24v if you wanted to. You would still have to remove the resistor pack and the controller card would not function properly as it is designed to read 12v (might even burn it up, never tried it ;-) ) There is no need to cut anything if you do not want to. Just make a new power wire.

Are the Florida titles worth it?

The warning will not be removed. It is directed to EVERYONE, just not you. As you can see others are injecting their thoughts. Getting an SF-97 and a title for off-road is perfectly fine. Side stepping the OFF-ROAD restriction is not.

Are the Florida titles worth it?

Please remember folks that the newly released HMMWVs titles and SF-97s are for "OFF-ROAD" use only. Any other discussion about titling them otherwise on this site will get you banned. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?138670-HMMWV-Titling...

That is the sticking rod. Do not start it again until you fix it.

    problem starting the deuce.

Covered many, many times. It is the fuel shut off rod on the IP that is sticking. Gimpyrobb has posted many times with all the pictures. Not in the TMs as far as I know.

    Alternator Part Numbers???

I'll have to look but I seem to remember that they started making a kit just for the CUCV with the correct capacitor. Found it. Not a kit specific for the CUCV, but it does have the correct capacitor http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?136886-Alternator-and-starter-parts-amp-repair-kits

    Alternator Part Numbers???

And they are a member here. Ordered many kits from them. Just be aware that like most parts these days there is a chance that you could get a bad parts. Part of the game. The correct part number is listed in the parts manual and many of the stickies.
