I think he's referring to the M757-based 8x8 trucks. Some were used as Pershing missile transporters and erectors. The tires are not 6 feet tall, maybe 4 feet, but time messes with people's recollections. Here's a pic of one doing it's duty in Germany...

I noticed on the older M116 trailers (the 3/4-ton trailers used with gensets), there are stave pockets on the sides to install the staves and bows to allow a vinyl cover to be placed over the cargo area. I am looking at a M116 trailer, one of the newer types, doesn't seem to have any pockets on...

It's a fairly rare bird now, after 45 years of age. The missing parts are out there - if the engine no longer is there I'd recommend an upgrade to a Cummins 4BT or 6BT, either will fit up front, that will solve the underpowered problem with this rig. Make sure it finds a home, the -715 series...
FYI - Shawn Coleman is in a hurry to clean out his remaining deuces - as trucks OR AS SCRAP. So trust me, he's flexible, and if you need parts I'm sure one of the other ones in back can provide a replacement if you need one.
