I have one for sale in Front Royal VA, just haven't listed it in the classifieds yet. Let me know if I can help you out. I'm only an hour or so from you.
I believe you are correct about the type of fire extinguisher. I had a picture, I can't find it now, but it showed the fire bottle mounted lengthwise on the tranny hump to the right of the shifter knobs.
I don't think there ever were original ones, never seen them.
I have a set on my truck, it's very well made, keeps a lot of the hot air out of the cab.
I've towed deuces home before behind other deuces. No problems, though it was a little white knuckle on the first trip, having never done it before.
Hope the drivers are okay.
The first pic in the latest post is kinda good, all the rest are too far away. Thanks, though,
Was hoping to come across a gun nut who has a pair mounted present day in his Class III collection.
Does anyone have any close up detailed pics of any dual M60 gun mounts? I've seen a few original pics of twin, side by side M60s, but nothing close up. Just want to get an idea how they are mounted.
Coleman's Surplus has the correct sized mattox and shovel. The shovel has a plastic handle, but that just means it will be more comfortable.
The local True Value had the correct sized axe for my pioneer rack.
I'd love to have a M920 as well, much like Soni H. has done up. Also, a M925, a HEMTT, a M125 (although Bruce Kubu says it's overrated), and an Atomic Annie cannon setup. But truth be told, I have neither the space or the money to deal with all of them.
Heck, it's hard enough dealing with the...
Air shift, hands down. Had heard much more problems with sprag shift than air, and to be honest, there is nothing like sitting in the cab, hitting the air shift button, and knowing you are in 6-wheel drive.
