That's not carpet. It is either:
1. a layer of mud from when the deuce was in floodwaters during Katrina
2. 2 inches of thick dust from being in a warehouse in Nevada for 30 years
3. a very large paper wasp nest, the wasps are located under the seats, you will find this out when you sit in the...
Personally, I'd leave the shop body one as-is, it is very useful to have a mobile shop when you need it on the farm. As for the concrete truck, carve it away! Those concrete trucks were always surplussed out with the tank and pump units in crappy shape inside.
I would bet that's the reason. Do you own a concrete company, or are you planning on removing the concrete bodies and using the trucks for something else?
Very cool! Perhaps you have too much money in it, but how many others out there have a surplus Gator in a condition nice enough to bring to a judging contest??
More proof that wives do nothing but screw our toys up whenever they get a chance.
Take the solenoid off, first. Check to make sure the spring and plunger inside are still moving, and lube it with a couple drops of oil before putting it back on. If that doesn't work, take the back plate off...
I'm used to seeing the HMMWVs with the one-piece hoods, where the grille is part of the hood. What variant is this? I see the grille is separate from the hood.
Notice the liberal better-than-thou attitude of the article? "Oh, how can people own such things in this era of terrorism? Maybe we should write a letter to Craigslist and get them to kick it off, or alert the authorities. Waaaaaa! My pee-pee hurts!" Bunch of whiney losers.
Wish the ad...
Man, I'd hate to be the one responsible for the truck in the drink, in the first photo. That truck probably had to be torn down completely after that....
I believe the M35 standard fuel filters down to 10 microns. If you pre-filter the used motor oil in bag filters down to 5 micron or less, the tiny little carbon pieces that get through the filters won't do anything to the deuce engine. Might increase the soot coming out the exhaust stack a...
That might be good to bolt to the inside of one of the long sides of the deuce bed, in order to hold all the 20mm ammo cans, fuel cans, Mermites, etc. etc. etc. that we always seem to be trucking around to shows and offroad events. Granted, it would take up some floor space for most of the...
Go to M715Zone.com. Those guys over there are -715 series experts, and I'm sure a few of them have useless junkers lying around their yards. That's your best bet.
Steel line corrodes over time. Copper doesn't. It's a trade off, I guess, the military siding instead with large-diameter copper line that won't corrode. It's also easier to replace than steel is, when it does get messed up.
