    Yes..............that's what it looks like. What is hard for me to understand is how it came on so sudden. The blow by went from a little to a lot in a 25 mile trip.

    Thanks for the ideas, am sure can rule them out, but will inspect all the components you mentioned..................oil pressure is good. The good news is got my fuel gauge fixed while was messing around with the old gal.

    Let truck sit 2 days and sucked fuel out as stated above...............NO WATER...............and fuel was very clean, no junk in it. And she fires right up and runs fine????????

    Thanks Tracer, will look for some cooper plated ones. Do you remember where you got them? Back in the late 60"s when I first stared driving these things do not remember having many problems with the gubberment issue boots, sure would be nice if someone would make them up to the older GI standards.
