    Do you know if anyone has changed out the the gear sets in the rear ends to lower the rpms at 60 mph freeway speeds?

    Did you notice much torgue loss with the new tires? How would you think it would effect it pulling a heavy trailer? I am looking into the 395's but am still asking questions before I make the plunge.

    gimpyrobb, thanks I didn't know they were already flipped on the A3. is it because the bead doesnt match or what is the problem with doing that? I have read that some say the tires would be too close together others say they do it just fine.

    jasonjc, thanks i read that thread and some others also. it does look like a 900 series truck would fit my needs better. but it sounds like there was a differece betwwen the USMC trucks are different than a normal one. if anyone knows about this could you please give me some info on it.

    moose, I would not rule out a 5 ton for me but I don't know enough about them. I am reading about them and trying to find out what would fit my needs better. there seems to be alot more different types of 5 tons, with different motors and trannys. I just need to do some more research.
