I never thought that I would find a process that was worse than the DMV. I even have a security clearance so it is a paperwork issue. You can't expect people to wait months to pick up an item they paid for. I bought a Mercedes GWagon from Germany and it took less time to get it shipped and for...
The whole EUC process is standard gov BS. almost 3 months and nothing. I say we press for 25% down until the EUC clears. Maybe that will get their foot out of their asses and make them do their work
Hitting the 3 month mark on my EUC and starting to get a little tired of the wait. I have had many EUC's clear when I would buy from GL. This is just crazy. At this rate how are they going to be able to hold prices up on buying something you have to wait 3 months for. Don't worry though "They...
This should say enough and should tell us the level that GL has sunk to in order to get people to buy from them.

Kabbage is a pretty well developed website. I did some looking around. They do have a 1-888 number but do not have the time to call it.
Just wanted to make more people aware of it, see how many others are getting the same email..
I got an email from GL that they now offer financing through Kabbage. Wow, sounds like a good idea.
Figured I would take a look through it as I like to see..
One of the last steps is them asking you to provide your online login information to your bank.
Are they out of their minds? ? ...
When I got mine home I was happy to find a few things. First, it started right up. (After checking all the fluids and such)
Second, when talking to the people at Letterkenny they stated that my generator had not been set anywhere after the tier 2 reset so the meter reading of 4540 hours was...
They took the correct generator to the other buyer and got mine and dropped it off. IMHO GP was wrong for giving the guy the wrong generator and he was lazy or did not know better to check the numbers and give the generator the once over, like check the hour meter... Moving forward the buyer...
I spoke to the people at Letterkenny and got some good info. The Tier 2 was done for various reasons, hours, failures and many coming back from Iraq.
The hour meter can mean nothing, sometimes they replace them, sometimes they don't
The "Gen Set Hour Reading" is how long they ran it to test...
I call them government hours/miles. I have read that the hour meter is not always replaced during a reset. Not sure if that is the case for sure.
Would be nice to know if a gen set that reads say 4000 hours with a tier 2 reset stating Gen Set Hour Reading means it was reset at the 3500 hour...
I was out at Chambersburg yesterday to pick up my 803 and was looking over what they had there. I saw many that had the tier 2 reset tag on them. One thing I did not understand and was hoping someone here knew. They would say, hours reset to and it would have something like 2.2 or 2.5 yet most...
They are working on a "solution" we will see.
Gimpy. I asked it be deleted from here before posting elsewhere. Did not know the SS police was out so fast.
Went to chambersburg to pick up my M803 today. Two things. First it was an hour wait outside the gate across the road before I got help. Second ..... Wait for it... My generator had been given to someone else. UGH they better make this right
GovPlanet and EUCs
Figured I would start a thread about EUC status. I know it has been covered before. Wanted to let people post their status to let people get an idea of processing times and how things are progressing.
I put on in on 6/24 and it is in EUC sent status.
I know they are working...
Whatever you do, DO NOT sand blast it. Working in Aviation for years I saw what it can do even if you are careful... I made sure to use a sander that was hooked up to a vacuum and major respirator is a must. Boing requires remote are when doing any work with CARC. Nast stuff...
Only bid what you are willing to pay and willing to loose. Keep in mind, these are "toys" not something you are going to drive to work.
Also do not forget the added 10%
Last, clear it with the wife before bidding.
